Today we celebrate Tina Turner’s Anniversary, today she celebrates 79 years of life, most of them very happy, others not that much. She was born in Tenesse and began her career with Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm, with only 19 years and she was a success.
She was married with Ike for a time, but after they divorce Tina began her solo career through live performances. In 1984 she released her fifth solo album ” Private Dancer” who had immediatly success worldwide. That album included “What’s Love Got to Do With It” who became a true music hit and won 4 Grammt Awards.
This performance of Tina Turner and Beyonce was definitely one of the most iconic, just like the song they sang “Proud Mary”! The intensity, the moves, the passion and the music itself made everything perfect. This two combine very well, that is certain.
