A black Coconut Ash cone at Morgenstern’s
Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream is a new American ice cream parlor, focused on serving texture-driven small-batch ice creams with a renewed attention to flavor and palate. “Each ice cream is made with the flavor profile in mind first” according to the owner. With a unique vintage look, Morgenstern’s looks to change the way people eat and think about this nostalgic treat, by giving ice cream lovers an entirely original and contemporary ice cream experience.
The Black Coconut Ash is one of the most requested ice creams, that is why we wanted to share it with you. The place is all vintage style and has other products that are highly Instagrammed, however, this is our personal favorite!
The Oculus ceiling
This is more of an opportunity for those that are in love with the architectural design. During the day, natural light streams into this massive, column-free space two stories underground at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub. At night, the inner lights provide a glow for those outside.
Manhattan Bridge (The Sequel)
The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan at Canal Street with Downtown Brooklyn at the Flatbush Avenue Extension.
Head to Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Main Street Park (off of Main Street in Dumbo) to capture Manhattan’s namesake bridge, which looks radiant at night, because of its beautiful architectural design that looks more highlighted at night time.
A bathroom selfie at Pine Box Rock Shop
A former coffin factory on a warehouse stretch of Brooklyn, about a block from the Morgan Avenue L train station. Inside, there is plenty of elbows and headroom, with a pine-and-concrete architectural design decor that could be called industrial cosy. The bar is plastered with old ticket stubs encased in poured resin.
In the back, a nook of wooden benches and halved oil drums offers a quiet spot to chat. The bathroom is an iconic and highly Instagrammed place where it’s worth a picture that would absolutely kill on Instagram. It’s this porn collage that turns this place into something that people never saw and want to capture to show their friends and family later.

The Strand’s Rare Book Room is a perfect venue for weddings, celebrations, and private events. Spend your special evening surrounded by rare and antique books curated by Strand’s resident experts. This is a quiet place where you can spend an amazing evening, take some cool pictures in this vintage style environment and have an appealing Instagram page.
The Friends apartment
It’s located at 90 Bedford Street at the corner of Grove Street.
Reaching the building used for the exterior shot of the Friends apartment building is relatively easy, thanks to a major subway junction less than a 10 minute walk away. This is a great place to take cool photos that will have a more vintage style. Keep in mind that this only the exterior of what appears on the show, not the interior house design.
Overhanging lights galore at Panna II Garden
They’re known for Indian food, and then for the unique vintage decor. They wanted to make Indian food accessible too, so they keep everything at budget-friendly price-point.
Then there are the lights. Some time ago they got a little festive and decided to go a little bit overboard with the Christmas decor. When customers said they loved it, they decided to improve upon it, and now the ceiling is adorned with an intricate display year round.
Flushing’s Chinatown
The colors give a different vibe to your photo, making it more alive! We put this on our top of favorite instagrammable spots in NYC because of this natural, vintage and rusty vibe that will make any instagram feed look better.
The mural outside Baby Brasa
You may have spotted a new vintage style Peruvian chicken restaurant called Baby Brasa when it opened on the Lower East Side in 2016. Not so much for its food perhaps but, more because of the variety of attractive pictures of chef/owner/model, Franco Noriega, that the media used to promote it. Well now, the hunky model is flexing his restaurateur muscles even more and expanding the architectural design to a second location in the West Village.
