Pantone Color Institute anounced the Color of the Year 2015 and the choose is Marsala 18-1438.
The Executive Director of Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman says “Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth”
Add elegance to any room by incorporating this rich and welcoming hue in accent pieces, accessories and paint. Marsala’s plush characteristics are enhanced when the color is applied to textured surfaces, making it an ideal choice for rugs and upholstered living room furniture.
Ronde Pendant, by OIiver Schick
The Ronde Pendant, Oliver Schick’s first piece for Gubi, references the traditional pendant lamp and the heyday of 1970s lighting design. A unique detail is the opening on the top with an overhanging collar that resembles a vase or an amphora.
Darryl Red Rectangular, at Lampsplus
Minimalist style is illustrated perfectly with this Darryl modern table lamp. The small design features a rectangular base and shade in brick red and crisp white finishes, respectively. A rectangular finial, also in brick red, holds the linear shade into place and makes for a handsome finishing accent.
