Lindsey Adelman‘s studio in Manhattan is a local studio where a team of 10 talented designers is specialized in unique hand-made lighting fixtures and solutions. The team works closely with an extensive group of local craftsmen including platers, glassblowers, machine shops and casters. This successful collaboration resulted in a number of unusual lighting ideas and sophisticated projects. Below is our favorite pick of the studio’s creative lamps and chandeliers. Each of these extraordinary light fantasies carry a unique name and take you to a dream world: Boom Boom Burst, Burst, Clamp Light and Terrarium.

Milk & Honey – which can also be found in New York – has high standards in terms of its décor, atmosphere and clientele.

A pure and simple abstraction of a classic lamp form. This design is hand blown by experienced artisans using traditional glass working methods in a hot glass studio also known as a ‘hot shop’. After the glass cools the piece is hand worked with wet grinding wheels and the electrical parts installed.

Such a modern decoration! Those wall lamps with straight lines in the body and a curve lampshade are a perfect example o contemporary lighting.

The Modo Chandelier is inspired by off the shelf parts like those found at inexpensive lighting stores on Canal Street in New York. The spoke and hub system allows Modo to be configured in dozens of different ways.

Like an orchestra, Botti embodies all the details of wind instruments and takes us into a music concert.
