Texas-based interior designer Jeanne Schultz was assigned with sketching dense kitchens that were low on space but long on usability and attractiveness. The concluding result was this kitchen with flamingly decorated closets and open shelving, that hold the space looking bright and open, while the small devices allow for an ample operative kitchen.
The designer assured to declare that “the appliance mounts nearly flush to the countertop and may function as a usable surface when not heated. A contiguous surface optimises workspace and prevents an interruption to preparation areas.” Nothing else to say! Kitchen decoration at his finest level!
An extra eating table was added to the kitchen, formulating the belief of it being a family room, where the whole household can meet for a nice dinner. The white dining room setting achieved looking great in the nordic-inspired kitchen, giving it a sense of modernity and contemporary casualness. Who said the mid-century design is not popular?
As for crossing to having built a pantry closet, the designer chose to go with wide shelving, which contributes to give extra food storage by stretching the full horizontal amplitude of the kitchen space. Open shelves pile vertically more efficiently than the limitations of a mounted upper cabinet and also implement a storage area for dinnerware, etc. Let´s not forget the fantastic vintage industrial metal details, small though.
