Tucked in Moravia, the capital city of Czech Republic, this vintage industrial hotel was a complete transformation. Housed in a 17th-century historical building the perfect combination between modern and old is truly a wonder to see! S, don’t wait and have a peek at this amazing hostel!

With a pretty cool name, Long Story Short is located in an old brick building in the beautiful city of Moravia. Now housing this gorgeous hostel, the original building maintained the contemporary feel to it while incorporating the vintage industrial style into it.
The perfect marriage between the industrial style elements and the vintage furniture decor are simply something that we think it fits lovely into any decor. The design was established by the Prague based Denisa Strmiskova Studio. Leaving the historical building mostly intact the team enriched the place with the interiors.
The team built the hostel from scratch. Enhancing the arched wall with cleverly used industrial lighting fixtures, the use of black details and pastels contrast with the pure white of the surrounding walls.
The furniture was custom made in cooperation with the local producers and craftsmen, while parts of the design were a collab between Miroslav Bednář from Prague’s shop Retroobjects in selecting turn-of-the-century modernist designs and the architects of the project, others are original works by Czech artist David Minařík.
Trendy on its own, the quirky name, the cosy interiors and the way they fit into any Instagram photo are some of the key advantages of this vintage hostel!
