The bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the home, so you need to pay attention to its interior design. However, decorating this division of your house isn’t just about selecting a shower and a toilet. There are the tiles, lighting, mirrors and storage options to consider. Today in our weekly signature “Industrial Talks” we’re going to give you 5 tips that will help to create an industrial style bathroom. Keep scrolling!
1- Vintage vessel basin
If your bathroom doesn’t have an overpowering copper or brass element, then why don’t you use a white vessel sink? However, if the style of the bathroom is predominantly copper and brass orientated, then it may be more suitable to opt for a similarly styled basin.
2- Use tiles or the original brick wall
Befitting the rough and structural aesthetic of an industrial building, untreated brick walls are possibly the most accurate design feature when decorating your walls. A simple tiled design will also achieve a similar aesthetic.
3- Minimalist mirror
Mirrors can either be square, rectangular or even curved and spherical but for them to complement the overall theme they must be minimalistic in design. If you do want to decorate your mirror, it is best to adorn it with lights.
4- Freestanding bath
A freestanding slipper bath would be the most befitting in an industrial styled bathroom. A standard porcelain bath may also be too modern in design which is why we would recommend opting for a bath with a metallic finish.
5- Vintage Mason Jars
Vintage old Mason jars is a very popular trend at the moment. This particular reinvention styles two mason jars as a soap dispenser and accompanying toothbrush holder.
