For many of us, living in a city is a dream came true – we get to know many people from different backgrounds, we can go out at night and spend the time at many places and there are lots of opportunities around every corner! Some cities don’t even sleep and it’s a lot of adrenaline running through our veins! But sometimes we need a break. Sometimes we need a sort of escape. And if you’re near Bucharest – Ukraine, we found you the right spot, where industrial style meets the jungle ?
IF YOU’RE AN INDUSTRIAL STYLE LOVER DON’T MISS: 10 industrial style apartments around the world
It’s named Kane World Food Studio and by the moment you walk in you’ll feel virtually transported to a tropical location.
Local architect, Bogdan Ciocodeica is the responsible designer. With 180 square meters, the restaurant comfortably welcomes up to 74 people and aims to offer them an unforgettable experience the whole time they’re in there.
Greenery – which is this year’s Pantone’s Colour – is the leading element that balances the place’s industrial structure from the green glazed, ceramic subway tiles covering some of the walls, to the exotic plant mural and the abundant potted vegetation throughout the space.

Wooden elements were not forgotten. Together with the greenery elements, they contrast with the modern vintage and industrial ones.
A long mirror extends from above the grey blended white marble bar that faces the entrance and reflects the urban environment among the glasses and bottles displayed on its see-through shelving.
Despite all this mixing environment, the Kane World Food Studio counts on the industrial elements like the aged leather seats, metallic chairs, lighting pieces and the exposed, industrial ceiling – though painted in vert anglais – so people do not forget they’re not in Brazil but in Ukraine!
As the designer describes it, “The space is designed as an urban oasis, a lush jungle enclosed in a concrete and steel frame.”

Overall, the Kane World Food Studio is a perfectly planned place, perfectly blending styles. The ever-changing menu, which displays recipes for food and drinks from around the world and then chooses one particular region to focus upon per season, all the while retaining influences from other corners of the globe, is proof of that perfection, too.
