Chanan was born in the Libanese Republic, however in 1976, he has moved to France, keeping in touch with several internacional contacts. A renowned architect that worked over 7 years in the Ralph Lauren house as a creative designer, he decided to create his own project in 1993 – Chanan Interior Design. His portfolio has several finished projects in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia, and due to the international approach he decided to create a ‘secret’ showroom to receive his best clients. A mid-century modern touch with dynamism: the mixture of textures, lights, clean lines, historical references and much more.

Chanan Minassian believes that one of the most importan features is the space and the surrounding areas. When creating a design project it is crucial to have in mind the culture, the environment, so the project can fit in an harmonious way. Since he has worked as a creative designer for Ralph Lauren, he is aware of the importance of details.
Passionate about delicate materials, unique fabrics, and craftsmanship techniques, the designer is a true mid-century lover with a contemporary twist: all his design projects have clean lines, neutral color palettes, details in copper and gold, and, when needed, a contrastc with hues of blue and earthy green.
The designer selects the best furnishing and lighting pieces, especially from american designers from the 30s and 60s – creating the perfect date between the past and the present. The contemporary touch is his signature style, a style thay is hard to define, since it is a mix of different aesthetics and it is always evolving. Dating back to the 1970s, this style is unique because it borrows elements from many other aesthetics. In it, you can see nods to modern, traditional, art deco and even futuristic design. Nowadays, it can be defined by neutral colors, clean an curved lines and minimalism.
