In synergy with the growing interior design business, Steve Leung has branched out into furniture design. Manufactured and distributed through MAXXA, the first two series, the “i-chi” launched in 2001, and the “Cube” in 2003, became instantly popular in China and Japan, the European and other Asian markets – marking another milestone in his design career. The third series, “Ling Long”, launched in 2005, representing a crossover of Chinese and Western classical elements reinterpreted in contemporary language, with a refreshing touch of minimalism.

In 2006, Steve was invited by a famous Japanese brand to design a whole new series, the “Tenchi”, to cater solely for the Japanese lifestyle. In 2010, Steve further enhanced the design of “i-chi” and launched its second generation – “i-chi II”, as well as the fifth furniture series “Luxe” in 2011. In 2015, Steve joined hand with Visionnaire, the leading Italian brand of luxury home furniture, to launch a new furniture collection“Nature’s Jewel Box”.

In addition to furniture, Steve has been invited by international brand names to design other products, such as textiles, home accessories, bathroom vanity and wallpaper collection. Collaborating brand names include Former, Hunter Douglas Hospitality, Saga Furs, NEUTRA, Graham & Brown and Villeroy & Boch.

In 2013, Steve was invited to join yoo, an international acclaimed design company founded by property entrepreneur John Hitchcox and Philippe Starck, as Creative Director of ‘Steve Leung & yoo’.
