Today we bring you a stylish Scandinavian apartment in Stockholm, courtesy of designer Alexander White. Scandinavian design comes with a strong, consistent and instantly recognisable style. The Nordic look favours a simple colour palette of black, white, and grey.
In this lovely house in Sweden’s capital, light wood floors and furniture keep up the airy aesthetic, while metal fixtures and graphic art provide a dose of modernity. Shall we take a look?
In Alexander White’s design, the hallmarks of Scandinavian style are present, but kicked up a notch and tweaked. This Stockholm space goes all-in on grey, from the floors and the furniture to the walls and the rugs. The greenery is there, sometimes so big it’s half as tall as the wall.
The wood is there, most intriguingly as a sensually curved chair and accompanying side table. The graphic art and the metal fixtures are there too, with special attention going to the modern floating fireplace in the living room.
