“Last Thursday evening Architectural Digest hosted an intimate gathering at the glamorous Minotti showroom on Madison Avenue to celebrate the brand’s history of extraordinary Italian design. Attendees, including AD Editor in Chief Margaret Russell and Minotti Sales Director Alessandro Minotti, enjoyed a dazzling night of cocktails and design”

“Minotti opened a new store at 136 Madison Avenue, in Midtown, Manhattan in 2010. The new store was a project of Dordoni Architetti.”

“From the outside you can see three large windows wich overlook the street. In the inside, the interior has been divided into several levels; five suspended platforms made of natural black steel arranged from the lower top, reaching a maximum height of 6 metres, allowing the visitor to explore and discover Minotti‘s large collection of products.”

“The materials are those tipically used for industrial buildings: steel beams and plataforms, steel plates and concrete flooring.”

“The interior atmosphere arises from the colour of the walls, namely warm grey, which results in a simple architectural project, skilfully mixed with the light produced by the contrasting Box Lights and now also Delightfull Unique lamps.”

“The portuguese lighting brand can be seen at the luxurious interior design store with lamps Amy table, Coltrane wall and table, Botti suspension, Turner Table and Jackson Floor.”
