Meltino Bar & Lounge by LOFF, Braga
LOFF, a Portugeuse lighting design and architecture office, have designed the Meltino Bar & Lounge in Braga, Portugal. MELTINO BAR & LOUNGE is a place intended to update the concept of a coffee embedded in a shopping center.
The entire project was thought to create a light balance atmosphere. For that, it was used indirect light with diachronic lamps and halogens lamps in the bar. Orange leds were applied in the brand lettering.
Yu Bar by Kokaistudios, Shanghai
The Yu Bar is the glamorous new rooftop bar of the newly opened Shanghai Marriott Luwan. Located on the banks of the Lupu River overlooking the Expo 2010 site and the Lupu ridge the bar is located on the 28th and 29th floor and features a large terrace offering guests phenomenal views of the city.
Developed the Greenland Group and managed by the Marriott Group, Kokaistudios received the brief to oversee the architectural design of a glass pavilion on the roof and all of the interior design for this unique location and their aim was to create a multifunctional venue suitable for a wide variety of occasions. Split over 2 levels the bar is characterized by a series of different moods and experiences all of which back-stopped by incredible views.

Evolution Bar by Sebastian Barlica, Bucharest – Romania
Located at the historical centre of Bucharest known as “Cafeneaua Veche” (The Old Café), the eclectic Evolution Bar is designed – using HI-MACS® – in contrast with the old 18th century neo-gothic building’s style in which is inserted, bringing a fresh and contemporary feel for the new interiors. Evolution Bar – situated in the basement of the building – is part of a major renovation project by young designer Sebastian Barlica.
Cribbar surf bar by Absolute, Newquay – UK
A surf bar where the CEO is Tim Martin, a keen big wave surfer himself, where every detail comes under close scrutiny.
However Cornwall’s leading architectural and interiors agency, Absolute, have risen to this challenge with gusto, calling in the UK’s top surf magazine editors to create a collaboration that has delivered a 6,000 sq ft surf-inspired bar and club, adding a significant new dash to Cornwall’s style scene.
Cheese Bar at Hotel Meliá Sarriá by estudi{H}ac, Barcelona – Spain
The interior design studio estudiHac has designed the new Poncelet Cheese Bar Barcelona, located inside the Hotel Meliá Sarriá. This new culinary space has a total of 400 square meters on the ground floor of the hotel, and is called to be the meeting point for cheese lovers, as well as the perfect place for anyone to enjoy a highly specialized gastronomic proposal. This decorative project has taken the philosophy of Cheese Bar, giving to this new space an own personality with a completely new and unique interior, which creates the right atmosphere to enjoy a wide variety of cheeses.
